When a random person offers to take your picture with your camera; you could be almost guaranteed they would like you to take their picture with their camera.
My personal opinion: It is okay to want your photo taken, and to ask to have it taken, even if it is for your own records.
Personal Opinion #2: Wanting your photo taken and even changing photos on Facebook, for instance--has nothing to do with Narcissism. For instance, I like to note how I have changed and if I perhaps look better in a previous hairstyle and color. There may be something I wish to remember at a certain age and date that has nothing to do with the people or place.
